I stumbled across Jess' yoga classes several years ago when I was recovering from a traumatic car accident and grieving my baby daughter. Without making a fuss, Jess adapted poses for me, treated me gently and with compassion, and gradually helped me build a yoga practice that was immensely healing and restorative. Jess' Meditation in Motion classes were an oasis of calm during a very difficult time. I love that she connected the poses with brief glimpses of their grounding history and philosophy - yoga for brain, body and soul. I also found Jess' prenatal yoga and birth preparation courses incredibly helpful.
