Jess taught me a new way to practice yoga and reignited my love for it. During my pregnancy her classes helped me develop strength and confidence in my body's ability to support, nurture and birth my baby. I used many of the poses she taught me to prepare for as well as while i was in labour and the support poses she taught us in the couples sessions helped my partner be completely physically and emotionally present for me. I still chant and sing songs she taught me to my son to get him to sleep. Her mums and bubs classes allowed me to regain and build on my strength and flexibility while caring for a newborn. Having that continuity at such a special time in my life and working in such a personal and physical way with such a relaxed, supportive and knowledgeable teacher was amazing. I had thought the lack of ego in jess' classes had to do with the fact that they were pre and post natal classes until i did the morning intensives, when i realised its actually something that comes from jess' personality and conscious teaching style. Jess' classes are never the same, they're always fresh, challenging, supportive and immensely relaxing. I always leave feeling centered, agile, calm and strong.
